yesterday the praying mantis hatched from their egg casings their were hundreds of them soon we put them in a cage with netting around it. The cage should be bigger then one gallon. you also need to feed them bugs regularly they will eat a wide variety of bugs.I need to go some where so I will edit this post later.
Hey Julian. I can send you the pictures I took yesterday. I don't know how they'll be -- I took them with my cell phone. I checked this afternoon and I saw 2 on the hydrangea bush (the bush in my backyard). Another place to try for jumpy bugs is in the weedy area next to my yard at the end of the parking lot. Have you been able to count how many babies there are? Oh, and I thought of something about the robins' nest. The last time the robins actually saw the nest, it was upside down. Since they can't turn it over themselves, they have probably abandoned it and are building another nest. So if you want it, it's yours. I saw two baby squirrels this morning really early when I took April for a walk. Cecilia
